At JAYCEES Public School, our purpose is not merely to prepare you for examinations, but to prepare you for life. In a rapidly changing world shaped by technology and Artificial Intelligence, knowledge must be guided by character, confidence, discipline and compassion.

MUN is a wonderful opportunity to develop these qualities. It encourages you to think critically, research deeply, listen respectfully, express your ideas confidently and find solutions through dialogue.

Believe in yourself, respect differing opinions and never fear failure. Use this experience to broaden your perspective, discover your potential and grow into responsible and thoughtful leaders.

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to MUN JPS – Chapter 1, the first Intra-School Model United Nations Conference of JAYCEES Public School, Rudrapur.

For over 41 years, JPS has nurtured young minds with knowledge, values and character, preparing them for life by fostering independent thinking, confident expression and responsibility. MUN JPS – Chapter 1 continues this legacy by introducing students to diplomacy, global affairs and diverse perspectives, while developing critical skills in research, debate, listening, reasoning, negotiation and leadership.

As our first MUN, this conference lays the foundation for a lasting tradition. May it inspire our students to question thoughtfully, speak responsibly, think globally and lead with purpose.

Model United Nations is more than a debate; it is an opportunity to develop diplomacy, critical thinking, negotiation, and a deeper understanding of global affairs. I encourage every delegate to research thoroughly, express their positions with confidence, negotiate respectfully, and remain open to perspectives different from their own.

As representatives of your respective nations, you also represent Jaycees Public School. Your conduct, discipline, and professionalism should reflect the values and dignity of our institution throughout the conference.
